Knit Spiral Scarf Pattern
I knit this spiral, ruffly scarf this Spring while I was in-between bigger project. I started out with this Ruffly Scarf pattern (scroll down a bit), and altered it so it would be wider and warmer for the cold Quebec winters.

Spiral Scarf Pattern
The whole scarf is made by holding two stands of worsed weight yarn together (you can also use chunky weight yarn). I used two 75g skeins of a grey yarn I got in a MontrealKnit destash and a 140g skein of purple yarn from Red Heart.
- Using the grey yarn and 9mm (size 13) 24″ circular needle, cast on 100 stitches.
- Knit 2 rows.
- Knit in the front and back of each stitch for the next row.
- Knit 5 rows.
- Knit in the front and back of each stitch for the next row.
- Knit 5 rows in grey, and then switch to the purple yarn and knit for 2 rows.
- Knit in the front and back of each stitch for the next row.
- Knit 2 rows.
- Bind off.
