Hello,

My name is Cindy and I welcome to my new blog, DIYist. First, a few words about me : I’m a knitter, soapmaker and all-around crafter with a taste for trying new things and learning new stuff. I also love to cook and read when I’m not cruising around on my unicycle.

This blog is meant as a outlet to share the new stuff I learn and try, so I will share many projects, thoughts and reviews :

• Cooking advice and recipes. This can be anything from quick meal ideas to bread and canning projects. This will likely be a big part of this blog since I love good homemade food.

• Craft project of all kinds. I like to try new crafts and projects, but I have a weakness for fiber arts of all kinds.

• Book reviews. I read a lot, and will share the books I found interesting with a DIY perspective.

• Personal development, growth and productivity advice. I’ve started on my own path to self-improvement, and will share my insight from a crafter‘s perspective.

In the real world, I’m also a programmer and studied electrical engineering, so I will likely share some electronics projects and free programs.  And this list of topics will of course grow and evolve with time and your feedback. Let’s get started!
